William Rand, founder and president of The International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), The Center for Reiki Research, and The Reiki Membership Association, recently gave a remote presentation to the Australian Reiki Connection Convention on “The Future of Reiki.” He starts by examining the current understanding of the history of Reiki – research conducted over the last few years has yielded a very different picture of the early days of Usui Reiki Ryoho to what was passed down in most Reiki training courses. He then looks at the current state of Reiki practices and practitioners, and extrapolates from there to discuss what the future might hold.
The video provides a fascinating look at the past, present, and possible future of the healing practice of Reiki. (Video is 51:37 long.)
